All foreign delegates will be met on arrival at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport. Under the leadership of Sri J R Gupta, President of Senior Citizens Council of Delhi, the Delhi U3A Seniors have gone to great lengths to ensure that everything possible will be done to make visitors welcome. Hosting arrangements with local families are in place, and they are also funding a U3A 'Welcome Buffet' for delegates.

Air, Rail and Road travel to Chitrakoot

Delegates are recommended to arrive in India via Delhi, where they will be met by the Welcome Committee and can join the special railway coach provided for them. If wishing to tour before or after conference they should email Sri J R Gupta - guptajr2007@gmail.com

Air: Nearest airport is at Bamrauli (Allahabad) 135 km and From Chitrakoot the 2nd nearest airport is Khajuraho : 185 km.

Rail - general: The nearest railway station for Chitrakoot is Karvi (also called Chitrakoot Dham Karvi): 8 km. Some of the major trains are Agra Howrah Express; Bundelkhand Express; Mahakaushal Express (Kutub Exp; Chitrakoot Express (Lucknow-Jabalpur); Tulsi Express (Allahabad-Mumbai), Bundelkhand Express (Gwalior-Allahabad).

Road:
Chitrakoot is well connected by road. There are regular bus services to Banda, Allahabad, Jhansi, Varanasi, Chhatarpur, Satna, Kanpur, Faizabad, Lucknow, Agra, Maihar, etc. Some Road distances are : Allahabad - 125 km. Satna - 75 km.
